⚔ WWII GLOBAL STRATEGY ⚔

Every completed game's outcome, settings, AI seats and player results — the dataset used to analyze and tune the AI. No passwords or credentials are included.

A consistent, standalone copy of the live database — accounts, ranks, game history, the lot. Off-Railway insurance on top of the daily volume backup; grab one before risky changes. To restore, drop it in as the server's DB_PATH file. Google Drive upload runs ~daily once the GDRIVE_* env vars are set (see backup.js).

Affects desktop browsers only — phones & tablets always use the canvas map. Players reload the game to apply.

Marker map — the original: each territory is a coloured chip you click. Traced map — the hand-traced outlines: the whole territory is clickable and carries its owner's colour, and the chips disappear (unit & facility icons stay). While this is set to Marker, admins can still switch their own session to Traced from the 🗺 button in-game, so it can be play-tested first. Players reload the game to apply.

Unchecked modes are hidden from normal users in the Create Game form. You — and any admin — always see every mode, so you can still test them. Existing games are unaffected.

Auto-forfeit a player who doesn't finish their turn within the limit — the normal forfeit rules then apply (1v1 = loss; 2v2 = the player's factions pass to a teammate). Applies to every ranked game. Turning it on starts each in-progress turn's clock fresh, so it never instantly forfeits a live turn.

Permanently delete any game that hasn't been accessed (opened or played) for the number of days below — players are notified, the same as a manual delete. This is irreversible. Turning it on will remove games already idle past the limit on the next sweep (within ~6 hours).

Fill transparency of the round land territory markers on the map (sea-zone markers are never affected). Lower = more of the map artwork shows through. Players reload the game page to see a change.
